Risen
Faith
Fellowship
is a
Cell
Church
. A cell
church
is a
non-traditional
form of
church
life in
which
small
groups
of
Christians
(cells)
meet in
a
special
way in
their
homes to
build
each
other up
in
Christ
and to
evangelize
the
unsaved.
It is a
church
that
defines
its
cells as
the
basic
building
blocks
of
church
life.
The cell
church
is built
on the
principle
that all
Christians
are
ministers
and that
every
Christian
should
perform
the work
of the
ministry.
According
to
Ephesians
4:11-16,
God has
provided
apostles,
prophets,
evangelists,
pastors
and
teachers
to
prepare
God's
people
for
works of
service.
Such a
church
is not
built
around
the
assembling
of all
its
members,
but
rather
the
clustering
of
believers
in
"basic
Christian
communities"
or "cell
groups".
Every
believer
is
equipped
to do
the work
of
ministry
through
these
cells.
The
cells
may
cluster
for area
"congregation"
activities,
also
assembling
regionally
for
"celebrations”.
The life
of the
church
is in
its
cells,
not in
the
building.
While it
has
weekly
worship
events,
the
focus is
always
kept on
the
Cell.
Philosophy
of
Ministry
Statement
Cell
groups
become
the
basic
building
blocks
(or
communities)
for all
church
ministries.
The
church
is
formed
from
them and
is the
sum of
them.
Cell
groups
never
grow
larger
than 15
people
and
multiply
as they
reach
this
figure.
There
are no
other
activities
that
exist in
competition
with the
cell.
Everything
in the
church
is an
extension
of them
and
flows
from
their
combined
strength.
Our
philosophy
of
ministry
is in
accordance
to
Ephesians
4:11-16,
which in
essence,
requires
that all
members
or
regular
worshippers
of Risen
Faith
Fellowship
be part
of a
cell
group so
that
they can
be
involved
in the
ministry
of
edification
(inwards)
and
evangelism
(outwards),
i.e.,
works of
ministry.
